New for 2026

Meet Barracuda Strike.

SeaWorld San Antonio's newest coaster opened in March 2026 and is billed as the tallest inverted family coaster in North America — a smooth, swooping ride suspended over the park's water-ski lake. It's built to be the family's first "real" coaster: big thrills, no inversions, and a friendly 42-inch minimum so most kids can ride together.

Tickets & Parking

What it costs, and how to save.

SeaWorld uses dynamic pricing, so dates and demand move the numbers. Here are the recent ranges and the smart ways to spend less.

Single-day

from ~$40 online

Online advance tickets start well below the ~$108+ gate price. Kids 5 & under ride free in 2026 with a registered pass.

Season Pass

~$100 2-park

A SeaWorld + Aquatica season pass often costs barely more than a 1–2 day ticket and includes free general parking.

Parking

~$36–46 / day

Dynamic and cheaper booked online. All pass tiers include general parking; Platinum includes up-close.

Money-saving tips

  • Buy online in advance — gate prices are far higher
  • If you'll visit 2+ days, a season pass can be the cheapest route
  • Add the All-Day Dining Deal for full days in the park
  • Military & JBSA ITT discounts are available — ask before you buy
  • Cook breakfast at the house to skip pricey park mornings
  • One refillable water bottle per guest is allowed inside

SeaWorld questions

What families ask us.

How far is the home from SeaWorld San Antonio?
About 12–15 minutes by car. The home is on the Westside, a quick drive via TX-151 to SeaWorld at 10500 SeaWorld Drive, 78251 — close enough to pop back midday.
How many days do we need at SeaWorld?
One full day covers the big coasters and a couple of animal shows. Add a second day if you want to include Aquatica or take a slower pace. The planner above matches your nights to your park days.
Do little kids get in free?
For 2026, children 5 and under can get free admission with a registered Preschool Pass. Offers change, so confirm on the official SeaWorld site before you buy.
How much are tickets and parking?
SeaWorld uses dynamic pricing. Online single-day tickets recently started around $40 (well under the gate price), a 2-park season pass around $100, and general parking roughly $36–$46/day. Always verify current prices on the official site.
When is the best time to visit?
April–May and October–November are the sweet spots — mild weather and lighter crowds. Summer is busiest and hottest, but great for Aquatica if you start early and take a midday break.
Can we do SeaWorld and Six Flags in one trip?
Easily — they're about 20 minutes apart and the home sits between them. Many families do one park per day. See our Six Flags Fiesta Texas guide to plan both.
What's the closest airport, and do we need a car?
San Antonio International (SAT) is closest — about 25 minutes away. Plan to rent a car; the city's attractions are spread out and parking at the home is free.
Is the home pet-friendly?
Yes. Well-behaved pets are welcome, and the fenced backyard gives them a safe place to play.
